Pure-blood Dog Registration Provisional Regulation

Chapter 1 General

 

1. This regulation is established to enhance the breeding and registration of pure-blood dog according to <<Breeders Administration Rules>>.

2. Committed by Farming Administration Department of China Government, China National Kennel Club (CNKC) will be responsible for the registration of nationwide pure-blood dog.

3. The registration work of Pure-blood dog shall be completed by CNKC and its provincial liaison office through a computer network management system.

4. The Canis standard issued by National Industry Department will be used for the pure-blood dog identification, and the Federation of Canine International (FCI) can also be adopted in case of no national standards.

 

Chapter 2 Identification of Purebred Dog

 

5. The dog applied for identification should be the one without valid pedigree certificate or with the certificate unaccepted by CNKC.

6. Fill out the Purebred dog identifying application form and provide recent photo, CNKC and its Liaison office will arrange the appraiser, schedule and place.

7. Identification place: CNKC matching stadium and the place accepted by CNKC or its liaison office.

8. The dog to be identified must be older than six months.

9. The qualified dog will be embedded the chip card and provided <<Pure-Blood Dog Certificate>>, and also advertised on the internet.

10. The <<Pure-blood Dog Certificate>> can be used for matching application and registration of pup dog.

11. Charges: RMB200 for each identified dog and RMB30 for the certificate cost.

 

Chapter 3 Registration of Puppy Dog

 

12. Puppy dog's parents must be registered in CNKC.

13. The puppy dog should be registered and chip card embedded in CNKC within three months with mating demonstrate and puppy dog registration form provided by owner.

14. The name of puppy dog should be composed by dog' name and kennel's name.

15. When the female and male breeding dog is owned by one owner, the mating should be supervised by a third party which has no economic relationship with the owner and sign on the mating demonstration.

16. CNKC will issue a <<Pure-blood Dog Certificate>> to the qualified puppy dog and advertise.

17. The pedigree certificate of parents should be provided for the application of pup dog pedigree certificate.

18. The registration fee for each pup dog is RMB100.

 

Chapter 4 The Dog Transfer Registration

 

19. The owner change registration can be applied to CNKC liaison office when the CNKC registered dog transferred in the period of being a CNKC member.

20. The former owner and present owner should submit the Transfer Application form and pedigree certificate or pure-blood certificate to CNKC liaison office for the transfer registration.

21. After eligible examination, CNKC will issue <<Dog Transferring certificate>> and advertise it.

22. The transfer registration fee is RMB100.

 

Chapter 5 Registration of Imported Dog

 

23. The applicant should fill out the <<Imported Dog Registering Application Form>>.

24. The applicant should provide export pedigree certificate issued by CNKC accepted overseas canine association, and the applicant must be the registered owner of export pedigree certificate.

25. The former owner must provide transfer certificate to prove that the dog has been transferred to the applicant.

26. After eligible examination, CNKC will issue the pedigree certificate and advertise it.

27. The registration fee for each imported dog is RMB300.

 

Chapter 6 Chip Card

 

28 。 Cooperated with pedigree certificate system, CNKC has set up a nationwide online management computer system for the chip card to manage the wide pureblood dog throughout the country.

29. The chip card embedding demonstration must be provided to apply for CNKC pedigree, pureblood certificate and matches.

30. CNKC will distribute the request chip card according the annually summary of all liaison offices.

31. The chip card will be embedded by CNKC appointed animal hospital.

32. Each chip card and the embedding operation fee is RMB100.

 

Chapter 7 Pedigree Certificate

33. CNKC has built up a nationwide computer online management system to issue pedigree certificate.

34. CNKC liaison office is responsible for the CNKC member's application for pedigree and export pedigree certificate.

35. Pedigree certificate applying conditions:

1 、 Pedigree must be from pure-blood dogs;

2 、 Original pedigree certificate of parents dog.

3 、 Demonstration of chip card embedded;

4 、 Mating demonstration;

5 、 RMB200 for each pedigree certificate.

36. Export pedigree certificate applying conditions:

1 、 Export dog must be registered in CNKC;

2 、 Export pedigree certificate application form filled out by applicant;

3 、 Original pedigree certificate;

4 、 The transfer demonstration should be prepared before issuing an export pedigree certificate;

5 、 RMB300 for each export pedigree certificate.

37. The numbering system of CNKC pedigree certificate is: CNKC + telephone area code + 5 serial numbers + year.

38. The numbering system of CNKC export pedigree certificate is: CNKC + telephone area code + EX + 4 serial numbers + year.

39. CNKC will replace CNKC recognized qualified pedigree certificate issued by international canine organizations by a new certificate and the charge will be RMB120 for each.

 

Chapter 8 Supplement

 

40. The charged fees will be only used for certificates and chip cards producing, labor and commonweal cost for industry development, and it will be distributed to CNKC and its provincial liaison offices in proportion to actual requirement. The expenses should not be used for the purposes out of regulations.

41. The CNKC council will be responsible for this regulation.
